Chiang Mai Cookery at “The Best Thai Cookery School”
We had a great time with Perm. He took us on a market tour. It was neat and full of information. He showed us many different vegetables, explained the different rices, the live fish at the market and explained the different tofus and much more.
Everything is really well prepared when you get to his house. There are dishes set up of the basics you will need and everyone gets their own chopping block and gas burner. Aprons are provided, as well as water, coffee and tea. Pop and beer are available for a fee.
Perm is making jokes the whole day and is very entertaining. If you ask they do have bags available to bring your leftovers home – so don’t feel you have to try and finish all of the delicious food.
We had a great day. You really don’t need to bring much, camera, pen (cook book is provided – but you might want to make notes). I would recommend bug spray as you are in an open terrace.
It was overall a really fun day and we would have loved to sign up for the second day, if we’d have had the time.

The only school that is Taugth by THE OWNER over 20 years cooking experience teaching experience since 1997. ince I was little I loved to cook. But I realized after working in restaurants that it was teaching that I wanted to do, I want to pass on and share my knowledge, experience and secrets in my small business I feel I maintain Chiang Mai’s high quality of cooking school, however I prefer to do everything more personally from driving to teaching you.
One of my dreams with teaching is to help others, so a portion of the fees go to the school for blind, the institute for old people and Chiangmai orphanage.
